Actually, I wrote 4 pages yesterday, and typed them up today! Woo! Maybe I'll go figure out how to get Beckett out of the bathroom now.
![]() I feel so bad for you. I would HATE having to ration internet! So I left you a note on your profile. And when does Lucy get back? It is way too quiet without her!

me! I'm back!!!
I'm at work today and severely regretting it! The worst part is that I have an appointment with a very important prospective client at 4pm. I should've come in later, cos I dont' know how I'll stay awake until then (it's only 10.30am now). I caught three planes in 24 hours to get home yesterday, sans boyfriend who is staying on for another week. So, holiday in a nutshell - it was my first "backpacking" experience (my other holidays having been based out of one single accommodation) - we did Saigon - Da Lat - Nha Trang - Hoi An - Hue - Hanoi - Halong Bay - Hanoi in the space of 16 days! I met heaps of cool people, including some Germans, Scots, Canadians and Americans (from Kentucky, Oregon and California). Sorry I can't comment on people's earlier posts, have work to do. Boo. |

To fill you all in on the fun that's been going on Facebook, When I found out Del was having to ration herself, I visited her wall to leave her a little welcome back card, so to speak. I posted: POKE about 7-10 times. So next thing I know I have 44 email notifications and it's all from Kim and she says this:
POKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPO KEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKE POKEPOKEPOKE I made this mistake of commenting on it on my status, and certain family members of mine took it upon themselves to continue Del's noble work. I had about 72 (if not more) email notifications from three others posting: POKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPO KEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKE POKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKE POKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKPOKEPOKEPOKEPOK EPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEP OKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOK EPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKE POKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKPOKEPOKEPOK EPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEP OKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOK EPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKE POKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPO KEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKE POKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPO KEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKE POKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPO KEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOK EPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEP OKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOK EPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEP OKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOK EPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKE POKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPO KEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKE POKEPOKE POKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPO KEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKE POKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPOKEPO KEPOKE... Now I ask you, how could I possibly top that? Del, When I saw all that I laughed till I cried. And Dragon pokes me regularly too, FYI. I even got one from her too. But these are the tame little Facebook pokes, where someone comes to your wall and hits the "Poke Bren option." Clearly, she is not up to speed on the drama here. Lucy, Welcome back! It was too quiet here without you! What an adventure! That's awesome. Did you also visit family?

up to speed. pffffft. I just can't resist the "poke bren back" option when i receive one. My internet over the weekend was out for about 24 hours, which is why you're lucky I didn't see all that action, or I would definitely have joined in. And yesterday, I was at a friend's watching the big ole Superbowl!

Austin has a show name! Finally. Since his registered name is Remark, Ready Set Go and I think that sucks... My coach suggested Remarkable - which I LOVE.

That's a nice name. I like horse races cos the horses have cool names and you can choose your bets according to the names. Not that I'm a rampant gambler, mind you. In Melbourne we get a public holiday for a horse race, so I always have to lay one bet.
I would join in the poking of Bren, but Facebook is blocked at my work :-S I have been home alone since Sunday because myChris is still in Vietnam. It's really bad, because I've been eating whatever I find in the pantry (yay peanut butter!), and leaving stuff EVERYWHERE, eg: dirty clothes in the bathroom, half open letters on the toilet floor, random receipts on the couch, suitcases under the dining room table, spoilt food on the kitchen bench ... I keep pulling stuff down from the wardrobe and then throwing it on the bed. My available sleeping space is dwindling very quickly! I guess I am a slob after all, at least when nobody's watching. |

You're in good company, Lucy. I just showed our house for the second time. I had about 30 minutes so there was like no time to do any real cleaning. My boys room was a total disaster, So I just made the beds and took care of the dirty laundry.
And our room? Our room is the one that never gets a thorough cleaning. All I could do is tidy it up as best I could. Did I mention I'm domestically challenged? Who was it that used to hang around here and she liked to go over to friends house and clean them? I kept inviting her to visit me but she never took me up on it!

I'm hearing ya on the domestic bit. I hate cleaning - well I don't hate cleaning, it's more picking up after everyone else. I don't mind running a mop and broom around as long as I don't have to pick up everyones crap just to get to the floor. It drives me nuts, I like to clean things as I go so its not a big job, but Troy just leaves shit everywhere and about once a month he gets a bug and spends a couple of days cleaning up everything.

I'm doing the domestic bit when the daughter goes to bed; then I'll do my dishes--speaking of which, I gotta get my daughter her snack before bed--hot chocolate and chocolate cookies
Oh, yeah, I'm on facebook too. ![]()
