Catcher in the Rye
J. D. Slinger. The man who wrote Catcher in the Rye passed away, he was 91.

I might have to read it again. I last read it when I was in school, and nothing is better than English class to rip away any enjoyment you might get from reading.
I hadn't realised he wrote Catcher in the 50s. |

I never read it but should. I hope I'm as good a writer as Salinger someday or as long lived.

This is going to sound terrible, but I thought he died a long time ago... like before I was in high school reading his books 10 years ago. :/ guess I was wrong. Great writer though, and I hope he enjoyed all of his long life.

I know what you mean the book seemed to be a classic. Older. I also assumed he might not be alive myself. *Hangs head in shame*
